Storm Flooding & Flood Cleanup in Sahuarita, AZ

Sahuarita's newer neighborhoods sit next to open desert that sheds monsoon runoff fast. During heavy storms, water can come over curbs, through garages and under doors on the low side of a lot.

Stormwater picks up soil, debris and contaminants, so materials it soaks are treated as contaminated: carpet and pad are usually removed, and drywall is cut above the water line.

After extraction, walls and floors are dried and monitored until they reach normal moisture levels, then repairs begin. Flood insurance, not homeowners insurance, usually covers rising surface water.
